new year today. i dont feel much different. i was sort of expecting to feel much older since i m officially no longer a teen (by year, i mean). a bit nostalgic, nothing more.
spent my last moments of 2008 and new moments of 2009 with my dearest slpovr gang! ahh lets start from 2008. went botanic gardens and lazed our aftn away. ate and took a lot of photos, more than the walking haha.. love the jumpshots and chatting!
ate waruku at central and we totally nua-ed at the steps in front of central all the way till new year! even when everyone was standing and cheering, the 5 of us were still happily sitting hahahaha.. oh the belly dancers were cool tho, esp love the beat of the drums and the freaky people on stilts. hahaha.. one took a 'liking' for krn! he totally refused to shake her hand while shaking just about everyone else's LOLZ. this slpovr countdown is the 2nd yr of tradition alr! the 2007th one we spent it watching House and falling aslp watching countdown at pau's. this year we spent it singing online ktv all the way man, damn fun mutilating the songs and revisiting oldies like backstreetboys and avril, while pigging on krn's superdelicious bailey&coffee cookies, lily's reeses, pau's snickers, pringles, ruffles,... wah, must detox aft new year alr. no surprise for the new weight joining me for the new year lol. krn fang and i were the last survivor against sleep! surprise fang! hahaha.. mindy pau and lily threw in the flag (cloth?) halfway thru. the 3 of us even created a neopet account! hahahaha.. a great start to a new year i say, to spent the last few and first few moments with such dear friends:) oh my mum was damn funny, she actually forbid me to call home at 12am for new yr greetings coz they wanted beauty slp!
oh and met up with dear dear squadmates a few days back too!! FINALLY. always very hard to coordinate outings coz of the many ppl. ended up not eating steamboat la hahahaha.. due to certain reasons *cough*. a good thing tho, coz we found a quite cheap cafe serving very nice pasta! my teriyaki aglio olio yummm. meeting up with squadmates always give me a great boost to mood. always leave with an aching mouth and tummy coz laugh too much LOL.
i would be very very contented this moment.. if not for having to headache over module bidding ugh. trying to procrastinate now ha.
